Know What to Expect Before You Arrive

Every exam or procedure is a little different. OSSO provides clear prep instructions to help you feel safe, ready, and informed.

Imaging Prep

MRI

Remove jewelry and avoid clothing with metal. Inform staff if you have implants, claustrophobia, or are pregnant.

Empty white space with no visible objects or details.

CT Scan

You may need to fast or avoid certain medications. Ask your provider for specific instructions.

X-Ray

No prep is usually needed. Dress comfortably and bring your referral paperwork.

Procedure Prep

  • Do not eat or drink 8 hours prior (unless told otherwise)

  • Bring your insurance card and medication list

  • Arrange transportation if sedation is involved

  • Follow your doctor’s specific instructions
